Online Life v IRL

Objekt was commissioned to produce a video for the BBC Own It channel highlighting troublesome aspects of online life for kids. The idea was to use a very basic illustrative approach, with minimal frame-by-frame animation.

Objekt came up with the idea to use Online actions being converted / projected to real life situations.

The Catalyst. Digital Directories

digital design, digital wayfinding, contextualisation, Staffordshire University

Benoy Branded Environments “created a wayfinding scheme for The Catalyst that reflects the ethos of the building. From a series of dynamic digital directories to signs with sleek, black metal outer shells, embellished with cut aways to reveal an internally illuminated centre, suggestive of a bright digital core”.

I was responsible for designing the digital wayfinding screens following an existing design system developed for the Catalyst building and animating them. The challenge was to make digital directories fit in the already developed wayfinding system and make the digital work in sync with the physical signage.
